Our Mission

This isn’t about a ballot in November—it’s about the laws already shaping your life today, tomorrow, and next week.

Politicians hide behind jargon and confusion. They twist words so a “yes” can secretly mean “no.” They count on you not to notice.

Ballot Beacon calls out the BS—no slant, no spin. Just clear facts you can read in minutes.

We break down new state and federal laws into quick bullet points: who voted for it, who profits, and what it really costs you.

Because it doesn’t matter what side you’re on—we all live under the same rules. The better we understand them, the better choices we make.

What’s on the Horizon

  1. Florida

Proposed felony penalties tied to gender-affirming care for minors

  2. Massachusetts

Limits on out-of-state National Guard deployments Lawmakers are considering a bill that would require the governor’s approval before National Guard units from other states could operate in Massachusetts. The proposal would alter how interstate emergency and security deployments are handled.

  3. Mississippi

State-level Voting Rights Act proposal Legislation under discussion would create new state voting protections, including oversight of election rule changes and expanded voter access requirements. The bill is framed as a state response to reduced federal voting protections.
